The Atrium opened on the North Walsham School site in 2009.
It has a 188 seat cinema with staged seating where you can come and watch our films in comfort!

This is one of the only independent cinemas in the country available to the public to host events.

The cinema benefits from allocated wheelchair access spaces.

Outside we have plenty of FREE parking and disabled spaces.

The Atrium Cinema is run by volunteers who share the idea that it is fun for North Walsham to have regular cinema screenings in our fabulous Atrium Theatre.

The volunteers are all local people helping in our spare time, and we need more, so if you would like to join us then please introduce yourself to the volunteers doing the refreshments.

We have no official status, and no-one is paid except to have our finances properly kept by COAST – a local arts charity.

It costs several hundreds of pounds to put on a cinema screening and over the last three years with your support most of our films are popular and we aim to break even at the end of each year. This means we can now put on a kids film every holiday at a low price too.

If you have some ideas for the Atrium Cinema or would like to volunteer we would love to hear from you.
